Position Description

Are you an experienced UX Product Designer who is passionate about building software that makes a difference? Fearless, a full-stack digital services firm, is seeking an energetic and talented UX Product Designer II to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

As a UX Product Designer II, you will be responsible for designing how users interact with products and services. You will use your extensive product design skills to conceptualize, ideate, test, and implement design solutions that meet the needs and goals of users, clients, and organizations. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and other team members to develop research strategies, user requirements specifications & experience goals, personas, storyboards, journey maps, scenarios, flowcharts, and design specifications. You will also be in charge of designing wireframes, low and high fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes of easy-to-navigate user interfaces (UIs).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in the following:

– Visual and user interface design, including typography, layout, color theory, and common interaction patterns.

– Interaction design and front-end technologies.

– Designing and applying style guides, component libraries, frontend frameworks, and design systems.

– Using a variety of design and prototyping tools.

– Experience establishing, iterating, and documenting on design patterns to solve problems.

– Effective communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale and goals both verbally and visually.

– Experience implementing and coaching others on design best practices and standards.

In addition, experience with a broad array of human-centered design methods, conducting research and usability testing, and translating insights into action is a plus.
