Position Description

Brave Health is searching for efficient and experienced Telehealth Therapists, LCSW and LCPC, to provide remote telehealth services to patients struggling with behavioral health conditions. As a community-based start-up, our mission is to improve access to affordable and high-quality mental health and substance use disorder treatment through the use of telehealth services, eliminating barriers, and expanding access to individuals in need when and where they need it. You will be required to provide outpatient services through telehealth, catering to a growing need for these services.

Responsibilities

The therapist will be responsible for providing effective treatment plans to patients based on their mental health and substance abuse diagnosis. Other responsibilities include the following:
-Providing outpatient services through telehealth program
-Working collaboratively with peers and supervisors
-Completing comprehensive assessments based on the client’s mental health or substance abuse diagnosis
-Utilizing multiple tech platforms simultaneously, such as telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
-Ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance when working from home

Qualifications

The following are the qualifications required to be a telehealth therapist at Brave Health:
-Master’s level degree (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent credential)
-Active Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT License
-Eligibility to work in the United States
-Ability to work remotely from home with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance
-Excellent knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
