Responsibilities:
- Stage, set up, assemble, test, and install flight hardware.
- Utilize precision calibrated tools like torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
- Perform hands-on operations involving both large and delicate assemblies.
- Interpret and work with blueprints.
- Execute tasks in accordance with procedures, specifications, and test instructions.
- Proficiently use various mechanical tools without guidance.
- Collaborate with production engineers to develop and document activities.
- Ensure timely, safe, and professional execution of all production services.
- Perform hydro and pneumatic testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of professional experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or manufacturing.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- A&P certification.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a technician with propulsion systems.
- 2+ years of relevant experience interpreting technical data and using manual and powered tools.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability operating environments.
- Proficiency with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines.
- Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Effective teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing roles/responsibilities in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
