An experienced Scientific Writer is needed for Robert Half Marketing & Creative. The ideal applicant will have at least five years of experience writing scientifically in the engineering or environmental fields. Writing and editing technical reports and papers for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies is the main duty of this position.

For up to a year, this opportunity can be totally remote, requiring 40 hours per week of work during EST hours. After that, it will become a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Internally, I write for a daily news site, I create content for other teams, I write for presentations, I write for infographics, etc., and I write for outside, I write for websites, monthly news magazines, social media (LinkedIn), etc.
• To ensure that accurate information is included in documents and reports, conduct research and review the relevant scientific literature.
• Technical documents and reports should be written, edited, and reviewed for accuracy, readability, and clarity.
• To guarantee that all project goals are met, collaborate with engineers, scientists, and project managers.
• Interview SME’s, designers, photographers, and videographers to collaborate on the creation of visual material.
• Clearly and succinctly convey technical information to those who are not technical.
• Verify that all documents adhere to the necessary laws, rules, and specifications.
• helping to create proposals, white papers, and other marketing materials.
• Keep abreast of market developments and trends by attending meetings, workshops, and other events.

Requirements:

• 5 years or more of experience writing in the scientific/technical field. (Preferably in the environmental or technical fields)
• Working knowledge of both accessible and technical content.
• Journalism experience
• Samples are crucial! Need examples of pertinent work (online, magazines, journals, etc.).
