Responsibilities

  • Delivering timely, effective, and thorough customer support by speaking with Blink’s clients on the phone and via email.
  • Collaborating with other customer service teams to maintain a high standard of service
  • Having our consumers’ backs when things doesn’t feel right and speaking up for them
  • Working with clients to comprehend how they use Blink’s solutions to fix problems and get the most return on their money
  • Becoming an advocate for our clients by highlighting and addressing problems that need improvement
  • Actively looking for ways to meet customer wants, sharing trends with leadership, and coming up with creative answers in support of the customer experience
  • Supporting consumer communication throughout crucial launch and support events for Blink
  • Coordinating efforts across the range of customer service to provide a constant and superior level of assistance
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of a range of product lines and features
  • Directing initiatives to enhance procedures connected to support
  • Blink Subscription service support

What a day looks like:

Working on issues at a deep technical level not typically encountered in a regular consumer context will be your responsibility as a Technical Support Associate on the CS/Technical Support team. You will assist customers in navigating their own home networking and mobile device configurations while supporting our Home Security product line. You’ll be a vital contributor advocating product modifications, documenting solutions, and automating log analysis in addition to resolving issues for clients and partners. There are several opportunities for personal development in this profession.

Our goal is to give homeowners peace of mind while they are away from their homes by using our wireless, battery-powered smart home security cameras.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of technical support experience with a primary goal of maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Supporting consumer WiFi / Mesh networking platforms for at least one year (Linksys, D-link, Google WiFi, ASUS)
  • Working with parental controls, firewall configurations, and frequently enabled features of service provider modems, routers, and services for at least a year
  • Offering technical support for mobile platforms and devices for more than one year (iOS, Android)
  • The capacity for remote work

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A desire to delve into the finer points of a system or procedure in order to address client issues
  • Mastery of MS Office, with a focus on Excel
  • The capacity to record technical client difficulties into notes that other users can read
  • Technical enthusiasm and eagerness to learn new technologies and support clients in their success
  • Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
  • Successful track record in a high-pressure service environment Knowledge of Zendesk CRM
