Position Description:

The Client Success Manager (CSM) at Cordial plays a vital role in ensuring the success of a portfolio of clients. They are the primary point of contact and advocate for clients, responsible for post-sale relationships. Here’s what the role entails:

Responsibilities:

  • Client-Centric Approach: Obsessively focus on understanding clients’ needs and work to deliver meaningful business impact by changing behaviors and processes.
  • Big-Picture Thinking: Comprehend clients’ definitions of success, align Cordial’s capabilities with their broader business objectives, and address their challenges effectively.
  • Project Management: Create and execute success plans, ensuring alignment within the Client Experience team and organizing client meetings and reviews.
  • Technical Proficiency: Develop a deep understanding of Cordial’s platform and its value proposition, showcasing its capabilities to clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle both strategic campaign challenges and technical solutions for clients’ messaging programs.
  • Ownership of Renewals: Take charge of the end-to-end commercial relationship, including forecasting, negotiation, and contract execution, with a focus on driving renewals and expansion.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Cordial’s Channel Growth & Partnership team to align technology and service partners with clients.
  • Business Development: Participate in meetings with prospective clients, align with sales, marketing, and product teams on client needs and success stories.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in a client management role at a SaaS company, preferably with CRM experience.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong technical understanding is essential.
  • Relationship Building: Enjoy building long-term relationships with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Self-Starter: Independent, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication, both written and oral, in business settings, catering to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across functions, including Product, Engineering, and Sales.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and clients.
