The accounting team at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has to be strengthened, so they are looking for an experienced accounting specialist. Several accounting activities will be the emphasis of this role, and it will be up to it to deliver accurate, timely accounting information to support decision-making. Responsibilities:

• Create your journal entries and the necessary supporting documents in compliance with GAAP.
• Comprehensive balance sheet account examination and reconciliations.
• In accordance with corporate policies and procedures, maintain financial schedules and ledgers.
• Practice closing procedures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Help the audits of financial statements be completed.
• As needed, provide assistance with unique projects and ad hoc requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or an equivalent degree, is recommended.
• 2 years or more of experience in accounting or finance
• Understanding of commonly used accounting principles
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Superior Excel proficiency

Location

The Los Angeles office will serve as the base for this position.

Pay: This position’s base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Benefits and a bonus are also available for this employment. In the end, the pay may differ depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to appropriate experience, time spent in the position, company industry, and geographic region.
