To define and create highly scalable hardware and software solutions that will power Ring cameras and video doorbells, Ring is looking for a technical leader.

You will collaborate closely with the hardware, software, and product teams in this role to produce high-quality, scalable solutions that can be used globally. In order to create the greatest product with the most effective use of resources and technologies, you will work with stakeholders. To ensure that projects are completed on time, you will work to build project teams, allocate roles, determine the necessary resources, and develop timetables. In order to optimize business advantage, you will also assess risks, foresee bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the needs of the business with the limitations of technology, and promote risk-taking behavior.

Candidates with technical backgrounds, attention to detail, and superior problem-solving skills will be successful. You should be preoccupied with helping high-performing teams develop through strict goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, ongoing process improvement, and mentoring in addition to being passionate about providing extensible, on-time solutions.

You will spearhead numerous team initiatives as the Senior TPM and make sure that the leadership is informed through weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the full development lifecycle of large, multi-team projects.
• Develop a plan and roadmap with the aid of important stakeholders that supports our business objectives and offers attractive device capabilities.
• Develop the finest technical design and strategy for developing new products by collaborating closely with senior engineers and managers.
• Educate team members on best practices for software development and documentation, ensure that designs adhere to specifications, and produce high-quality work on time.
• Prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management, and keeping track of external commitments are all aspects of project management.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Working closely with technical teams for more than 7 years
• Experience creating sustainable procedures, arranging release schedules, and managing projects across cross-functional teams
• Technical program management experience for at least five years
• 5+ years of experience delivering products using agile.
• working knowledge of collaborating with hardware engineers to create innovative gadgets.
• working knowledge of embedded firmware engineers.
• Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking.

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced technical degree or a master’s degree.
• Strong technological and business vision.
• Understanding of hardware and firmware architecture.
• Familiarity with the protocols for streaming video.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities to win over partners and teams and gain their trust.
