Responsibilities:

  • Establish clear and actionable requirements for new or existing Revenue Pipeline reports while controlling end-user expectations by working with the Revenue Pipeline Solutions Center (RPSC) and diverse business clients.
  • To extract data from a data warehouse (the Revenue Pipeline Analytical database, or RPAD), one must design, build, test, and document structured queries and reports in order to improve the speed and precision of both routine and ad hoc inquiries and reports.
  • Conduct proactive audits of RPAD data, reports, queries, and tables to find flaws in the technological procedures or data integrity of the Revenue Pipeline. Improve the business process and/or design for DL management. Work with the RPSC and/or IT groups to evaluate, plan, construct, test, and execute these improvements.
  • By proposing and analyzing the requirements for new Revenue Pipeline procedures or RPAD adjustments, carry out project management / product owner activities. Record, test, and audit the RPAD activities that were affected.
  • Validate the data and inform end users of the discrepancies between Revenue Pipeline data and data from other sources.
  • Answer queries from end users about Revenue Pipeline data and reports, including as data issues, RP data interpretation, report availability, and post-report delivery inquiries.
  • Prepare and lead Revenue Pipeline training sessions that cover the reports and data in Revenue Pipeline as well as typical end-user problems with RP data, including general Brio query knowledge, general RP data knowledge, and complex Revenue Pipeline properties.
  • act as a subject-matter expert for the revenue pipeline. Give other Delta companies and Delta Information Technology access to RP data, RP processes, Reporting Tools (Brio and SAS), and Delta business expertise for analysis, report production, and training.
  • Manage numerous ongoing and future system initiatives and analyses in a high-pressure setting with little oversight.
  • Consider safety when performing all operational tasks and procedures.

Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)

  • 3+ years of experience conducting demanding analytical work, and the capacity to provide precise analytical findings to all levels of management through oral and written channels.
  • To work on multiple projects at once and meet or beat deadlines, one must be able to prioritize and organize their work.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with others in a team setting under little supervision.
  • Must be skilled in a query writing tool (3+ years’ experience is required). Knowledge of similar database query tools, such as Hyperion, Brio, Toad, Tableau, SAS, or SQL, is also advantageous.
  • Must be able to learn the essentials of other Delta business operations’ data requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Self-starter with an innate desire to investigate and comprehend any issue.
  • Must be doing a satisfactory job in their current role.

WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a closely related discipline, or the equivalent work experience.
  • Strong data expertise in the Revenue Pipeline.
