Position Description

GitLab is an all-remote company that is revolutionizing the software development industry by delivering a platform for DevSecOps that enables organizations to build better software and faster. They are seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join their North American Enterprise team. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the technical sales process and driving the adoption of GitLab solutions by demonstrating how the products address client business requirements. In this role, you will partner with various sales team members to exceed revenue targets and promote GitLab’s Enterprise Edition.

Responsibilities

– Act as an on-site and remote technical consultant and advisor to prospects and clients during the pre-sales process
– Create and implement a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets through the adoption of GitLab’s solutions in partnership with the sales team
– Use your comprehensive knowledge of GitLab’s platform and associated technologies to educate customers of all sizes on the value it provides to their respective organizations
– Own a POC/POV, RFP/audit support, and workshop design for GitLab technical evaluation
– Build strong relationships with people within customer environments to make them GitLab advocates
– Serve as a customer advocate to other GitLab teams, including Marketing, Sales and Product Development
– Continuously improve your professional skills through training, reading, mentorship and thought leadership
– Master specialized competencies in one or more technologies related to GitLab’s market focus through training, certification and support reuse internally and by clients and partners.
– Some travel may be required for this position, in accordance with the company’s travel policy

Qualifications

– Experience with technical pre-sales
– Knowledge of the end-to-end software development life cycle
– Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment
– Experience with both modern software development or operation and their associated technologies
– Familiarity with cloud computing and related technologies and practices
