Position Description:
ClickUp seeks a motivated and creative software engineer to join the Cloud Platform team and assist in making ClickUp the “one app to rule them all.” As a Software Engineer, Cloud Platform at ClickUp, your major responsibility will be to manage the stability of our globally distributed and cloud-based infrastructure, which powers our app for tens of thousands of daily users.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a cloud computing platform, necessary cloud building blocks, and tools to enable ClickUp engineers to design, deploy, and operate services securely and efficiently, and to support the business expansion of ClickUp.
- Implement best practices for dependability, scalability, efficiency, and security in collaboration with SRE and security teams.
- Ensure the high availability, reliability, and performance of Cloud Platform.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience with large-scale distributed infrastructure and cloud systems. Particularly in the subject of computer foundations.
- Experience designing and managing large-scale computational infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS EC2, GCP GCE, and Azure VM.
- Knowledge of public cloud, containerization, and Linux
- Excellent problem solver and communicator
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is desired.
