Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an autonomous cross-functional team to define, build, test, and deliver innovative enterprise-grade solutions.
- Lead systems and environment development for new applications based on existing platforms.
- Utilize a modern development stack on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and open-source technologies.
- Work in a stable business environment with strong organizational and management support.
- Focus on coding, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting built-in-quality and automation.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience with high-quality object-oriented code.
- 7+ years of professional experience building Node.js backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with AWS and/or other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Typescript.
- Proficiency in developing REST APIs.
- Strong experience with Git source control.
- Experience in developing large-scale SaaS and cloud-native applications.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or above.
- Passion for high-quality execution, technical and operational excellence.
- Agile mindset and experience with agile principles and values.
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, design patterns, and web system architecture.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable with test-driven development.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies like Lambda and Kinesis.
- Familiarity with the Serverless Framework.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, DynamoDB, or any other No-SQL databases.
