Our Crunchyroll apps are created and maintained by the Roku team for Roku TVs and streaming devices. Our objective is to create an application that offers material to our partners, team members, and audiences that will excite and engage them. We collaborate with numerous teams to develop scalable solutions that can be shared across all client platforms, emulating the collaborative spirit of Crunchyroll.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of front-end development and 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills, project management knowledge, and technical leadership background
• strong track record of adding dependable end-to-end and unit testing to UI frameworks.
• Adept with BrighterScript
• competent in a setting of agile software development
• in leading lunch and learns, workshops, and pairing as an engineer mentor.
• knowledgeable about AWS products such as Cloudformation, Cloudwatch, and Cloudfront.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, project managers, and engineers to integrate new features throughout the Crunchyroll Roku app.
• Assist the team manager in coordinating technical designs and technological choices.
• Organize several teams and, if necessary, handle dependencies.
• Make sure that group assignments are finished on time.
• Maintaining strong code coverage on tests and conducting thorough code reviews can help to ensure high-quality code.
• Together with the team manager, create an extensive testing pyramid.
• Encourage engineers to advance in their careers.
