A UI developer is needed by the ESSDS team to create web applications. The senior analyst in software engineering will assist and improve ESSDS applications.

Responsibilities:

• Use React JS to create or improve ESSDS applications in a highly iterative and imaginative collaborative setting.
• Before sending the code for quality assurance testing, create and run unit test cases.
• Actively take part in the creation, testing, and upkeep of ESSDS apps.
• Take part in peer code reviews and offer feedback to make sure best practices are followed, such as accuracy, testability, efficiency, and adherence to style rules.
• Encourage participation by working together, and alert the immediate team of any technical issues.
• Work with software engineers, TPOs, quality engineers, and UX designers/researchers to develop new features or improve the current application to address business challenges.
• Create prototypes and experiments while investigating and advocating fresh concepts, innovative methods, and cutting-edge technology.
• By examining the sources of problems and their effects on the business and quality, you may prioritize product or system problems and debug/track/resolve them.

Requirements:

• Currently employed by Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their affiliates.
• Computer science or a similar topic as a bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ years of expertise with React JS to construct web applications.
• Working knowledge of the CICD and the GIT Repository (Jenkins).
• Preferable prior experience creating REST APIs with Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, or a comparable framework.
• Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and other software development life cycle approaches.
• Preferable is prior industrial experience (in pharmacy, healthcare, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Both vocal and written communication abilities must be strong.

If you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.

We plan to pay this position an annual salary ranging from 77,300 to 128,800 USD, based on important aspects like experience and location.

Additionally, it is anticipated that this position will qualify for the yearly bonus program.
