Responsibilities:
- For continuous validation, encourage automation and incorporate CI/CD technologies.
- Building well-architected applications with the AWS Cloud in mind
- Encourage the team as a whole to take ownership of quality.
- Recognize errors in the code and collaborate with other developers to fix them.
- Using automation tools, locate bottlenecks and thresholds in current code.
- Establish precise business goals that are in line with the technological requirements, and work every day in an agile, iterative manner.
- Possess ownership over your work assignment, are at ease communicating with team members at all levels, and express issues when appropriate.

Requirements:
Delivery obligations:
- Production of core code for back-end, middle-end, and front-end applications
- Designing and deploying whole AWS cloud applications and services
- Bugs, unsuccessful test cases, and system failures operational triage
- Metrics for measuring and improving infrastructure performance
- User stories to particular technological specs mapping
- Finish thorough peer code reviews
- Creating proofs-of-concept and pilot projects to encourage innovation
- Working throughout the development lifecycle at all stages
- Automating the generation of manual test cases and data objects
- Think critically, work together, take risks, and support innovative ideas.
Needed abilities:
- Currently employed by Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their affiliates.
- Master’s degree
- Familiarity with Glue, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, IAM, VPC, EC2, Athena, Cloudwatch, Dynamo, and RDS in addition to other cloud technologies
- Knowledge of the serverless approach to architectural problem-solving
- Experience using Terraform IaaS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Cloudbees, Please Build, etc.
- Proficiency with OOP languages, preferably Python but also Java and Scala
- Working knowledge of big data sets and storage
- Deep understanding of SQL (mainly) and NoSQL (secondarily) database ideas and design, including scalability, optimization, and schema design.
- Good knowledge of code branching methodologies and code structuring for code reuse, as well as strong git software version control experience
Wanted abilities:
- Familiarity with the Linux/UNIX operating system, bash scripting, and command-line interface
- Knowledge of streaming data technologies like Kafka and Kinesis
- Expertise with artificial intelligence or machine learning
- Developing RESTful APIs (using Python/Swagger, for example)
- Encounters with GraphQL and interfaces
- Experience or knowledge in health care information fields.
If you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.
