Responsibilities:
- Drive SoC power management features from conception to product delivery by designing, implementing, and optimizing CPU/SoC power management software.
- Cross-functional system power/performance trade-offs should be demonstrated and explained.
- Influence the software architecture and requirements of upcoming SoC hardware platforms.
Requirements:
Key Requirements
- Understanding of hardware/software connections and embedded SoC architectures
- Prior knowledge in developing and debugging sophisticated OS device and kernel drivers
- experience with system analysis and performance tuning
- demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, creativity, and critical analysis.
- Highly competent and able to complete tasks on short notice
- Excellent teamwork abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Understanding of C++
Knowledge & Experience
- Computer engineering or science master’s degree, or comparable experience
Additional Conditions
- 5 years’ experience (recommended) in embedded power management
- Leading new technology development with dependence on hardware and software with a track record
- Having knowledge of system and silicon power management, such as clock and power gating, DVFS, C-states/P-states, and voltage management, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of new platform hardware introduction
- Knowledge of OS device drivers
