The team in charge of creating Amazon Payments Products is also in charge of supporting Amazon’s global CoBrand and Private label credit cards as well as the Shop with Points rewards program, which is the largest rewards catalog in the world. By offering a platform for FX (foreign exchange) and enabling payments in many currencies, this team aids Amazon’s international expansion. We create and use a wide range of technology, from user- and customer-friendly User Experiences to large-scale Distributed Engineering that incorporates the most recent advances in Machine Learning in the Big Data field.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years of expertise working on the architecture, design patterns, scalability, and dependability of new and existing systems.
    2+ years of professional software development experience, excluding internships
    Having knowledge of at least one programming language for software.
  • Programming knowledge in at least one contemporary programming language, such as Java, C++, or C#, with an emphasis on object-oriented design

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer science master’s or doctoral degrees are preferred.
  • A track record of effectively delivering sophisticated software systems to customers.
  • A working knowledge of distributed systems running in a high volume/scalable environment.
  • Understanding of professional software engineering standards and best practices for the entire software development life cycle, including build processes, testing, operations, and coding standards, code reviews, source control management.
