To oversee the creation of original DeFi-related smart contracts, prePO is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• The prePO smart contract architecture by driving high-level choices
• Write performant, clean, well-documented, and reuseable code. code for solidity
• Work together with front-end developers, designers, and other programmers.
• Work quickly and with a lot of ownership and independence.

The ideal applicant will be well-versed in smart contracts, possess excellent technical leadership, have a thorough grasp of financial concepts, and have a demonstrated history of resolving challenging engineering issues.

Requirements:

The ideal applicant will:

• Possess 4+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ years of solidity smart contract engineering experience, advanced knowledge of Git, GitHub, TypeScript, and Hardhat, and substantial experience creating thorough smart contract test suites.
• Possess a thorough understanding of Solidity design patterns and security best practices.
• Possess a wealth of engineering team collaboration and code review expertise and possess outstanding technical communication abilities (written and verbal)
• Possess a thorough understanding of finance, economics, and the financial industry possess a thorough understanding of the DeFi (and wider crypto) landscape
