Responsibilities:
- Assistance with all billing, rating, and settlement inquiries for cargo credit customers Reconciliation of cargo customer credit accounts
investigating and resolving client billing issues - Interacting with customers to gather the necessary records for auditing invoicing and discrepancies and applying client payments correctly
- Keep receivables aging within predetermined limits.
- Assist the customer in securing payment for outstanding debts
- With credit clients, AA Sales, AA Revenue Management, AA Operations, AA Cargo Facilities, and 3rd Party Vendors/Partners, there is a lot of phone, email, and verbal contact.
- Project ad hoc as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- It is preferred that you have an accounting degree or similar relevant experience.
- Being able to multitask
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are needed.
- Prior credit history is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both in writing and speaking
- The capacity to communicate effectively with management and employees at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with several conflicting deadlines and highly coordinated
- Strong PC proficiency in iCargo, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint is preferred.
Prior work experience and education are preferred qualifications.
- Bilingual
Knowledge, Permits, and Certifications
- The capacity to cooperate and work intuitively with a variety of internal and external customers
- Autonomous working skills.
- Understanding of accounting principles, good problem-solving abilities, and intellectual and analytical skills.
- It is necessary to be familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word).
- A plus is having knowledge with SABRE and other commercial systems.
