Position Description

LivePerson, a leading conversational AI solutions provider, seeks an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Solutions Consultant/Pre-Sales Engineer to join their remote team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of North America and work closely with other Solution Consultants, Sales Executives, Account Managers, Sales Leaders, and Professional Services staff.

Responsibilities

– Creating and conducting sophisticated demonstrations around Conversational Cloud powered by LivePerson, Conversational Analytics, Conversational AI, Voice AI, and key partner technologies
– Necessary partnership with salespeople to establish the strategy to win prospects
– Develop new and custom solutions to set the vision for product integration into customers’ infrastructure at a high level
– Provide technical and industry expertise to other business units (non-sales) within LivePerson
– Understand and share information about the competitors while following the company’s ethical guidelines
– Work with team members to reply to Requests for Proposals (RFPs, RFIs, RFTs, etc.)
– Educate LivePerson’s Sales and Delivery teams on the company’s solutions
– Support customer conferences by running demo stations or by acting as a scheduled speaker at the event
– Mentor new members of the Solutions Consulting team

Qualifications

– At least 6 years of experience in Solution Consulting/Pre-Sales Engineering with a history of helping to close large Enterprise deals or Product Management or similar experience
– Demonstrated experience selling into large key accounts, i.e., Renewals, Upsells, new LOBs, attrition prevention, expansions
– The ability to think creatively in complicated situations and provide value in the development of strategic plans for an account, whether existing customers or new logo prospects
– Experience related to: web, martech, video, mobile app, contact centers, telephony, Conversational Analytics, Conversational AI, and/or Generative AI
– Strong public speaking and written communication skills
– Understanding of API concepts, UML diagramming, and Agile development workflows
– Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts. GCP or AWS certification is a plus.
– Strong general technical aptitude. Fluent in the use of Windows or MacOS, Office, GSuite, video editing software, photo editing software, iOS devices, and Android devices
– A Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree or equivalent
– Educated in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, AI, or related. Relevant boot camp and self-study experience will also be considered

Salary range: $120,000 to $145,000 USD Annually
