Position Description

The CareSide is looking for an experienced Senior SEO Strategist to join its global in-house marketing team. This is a full-time or part-time freelance job that requires expertise in technical SEO and site optimization for organic website traffic growth to attract new clients and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

The Senior SEO Strategist will execute website audits and site crawls to ensure content is properly indexed. This role will also collaborate with developers to improve page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals, and provide SEO guidance to developers during future website launches to ensure existing traffic and rankings are maintained. The Senior SEO Strategist will optimize existing content for keyword rankings and user experience, add structured data, meta descriptions, and internal links. This role will analyze website traffic and analytics to provide strategic recommendations to the marketing team to ensure SEO has a seat at the table and define an SEO strategy roadmap and work cross-functionally with other marketing team members.

Qualifications

– 4+ years of SEO experience in an in-house or agency setting.
– Expertise with tools such as Screaming Frog, Majestic, SEMrush, Lumar, Google Analytics, Googe Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio.
– Experience with WordPress and a solid understanding of CSS, HTML, and Javascript.
– Strong understanding of Google algorithm and search engine crawlers.
– Ability to communicate and report analysis and recommendations to various stakeholders.
– Bonus points if you have experience with local SEO campaigns or working with two-sided marketplaces.
– Bonus points if you have experience implementing goal and event tracking in Google Tag Manager.
