An organization called Shipment & Delivery Support (SDS) is devoted to providing first-rate customer assistance for Amazon’s growing line of logistics goods and services. We are looking for a creative and driven Senior Program Manager to be the single threaded owner working across the SDS Knowledge Management (KM) functions to improve the way we roll out new features and programs. This will help us to accomplish our mission.

For large and extra-large programs or significant initiatives, you will represent SDS KM functions (content, training, communications, etc.) in this role. Working with internal KM leaders and cross-vertical teams, you will be in charge of delivering and executing to roadmaps. You’ll be able to quickly begin programs by identifying and communicating potential project trade-offs. In order to successfully transition initiatives and deliverables from projects to business as usual, you will plan and put into action strategies.

For this position, you must have a solid grasp of how knowledge management (KM) processes work as well as outstanding written and vocal communication abilities. The ideal applicant is methodical, capable of handling several projects at once, and intellectually curious. You feel at ease working in a dynamic, quick-paced office setting with shifting objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and promote a change management strategy that will assure the adoption of KM activities and the efficacy of our deliverables.
  • Provide cross-functional project management support for important initiatives.
  • Collaborate with KM Leaders to establish project charters, workback timelines, risk mitigation plans, and reliable reporting systems.
  • Predict and make trade-offs, provide escalation management, and adhere to committed delivery dates.
  • Manage peers as well as senior stakeholders through influence
  • Control expectations and resolve a variety of competing demands. Success in this position requires maturity, excellent judgment, negotiation skills, analytic talent, and leadership.

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Five or more years of project or program management expertise
  • Experience determining and driving changes using data and analytics
  • Possessing experience in managing program planning, full delivery, and reporting results to senior leadership

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience driving process improvements
  • A graduate degree or MBA in a related subject, such as business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, etc.
  • Experience with change management in projects

Our pay is in line with the cost of labor in different US regions. In our lowest geographic area, the base salary for this position is $92,500 per year, whereas in our top geographic region, it is $185,000 per year. Compensation is based on a number of variables, including market location, and may change in accordance with knowledge, abilities, and experience pertinent to the position.
