Position Description

The Arena Group is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Product Director to lead a team in The Arena Group’s Sports vertical, focused on innovative and scalable premium media products for sports fans. This position requires a self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills to drive audience and revenue growth and evangelize customer needs. The Senior Product Director will develop subscription offerings and work closely with stakeholders to define and communicate The Arena Group’s Sports product strategy.

Responsibilities

– Establish the product vision and roadmap for Sports Illustrated, TheSpun, FanNation, Athlon Sports, and the rest of the Sports Illustrated Media Group
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, prioritize, and bring to market new features and products in an Agile environment
– Build subscription products for SI Premium and SI Fantasy & Betting products
– Evangelize and align stakeholders on product vision, strategy, and KPIs
– Document, validate, and prioritize product specifications for project delivery

Qualifications

– 10+ years of product management experience in sports media industry
– Proven track record of delivering innovative product strategies
– Strong analytical skills, including the ability to derive metrics from data and make data-driven decisions
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
– Familiarity with Agile methodology and product development cycles
