The Fly Delta Mobile Developer will be in charge of developing cutting-edge features for the native iOS and Android applications that support the customer-facing mobile platform for Delta and Virgin Atlantic. With a focus on reusability, dependability, and quality, the following team member in this field will collaborate with their team and matrix teams to define the technical solutions that produce resilient and automated systems and assure the defect-free delivery of our solutions. Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)

  • A strong understanding of design patterns, proficiency in mobile technologies (Android SDK, Jetpack, Kotlin, Espresso), and working knowledge of cloud-native technologies are all sought.
  • Techniques for quality development, with automation in the forefront for ongoing quality. Development that is test-driven
  • The capacity to create secure apps that follow information security best practices
  • Ability to create high-performing apps with a continual improvement emphasis that balances data saved in the app versus servers to interact for end users
  • Technical expertise involves showing a dedication to gaining knowledge and skills in current technical and functional areas, staying current with technological advancements, keeping up with business standards, and knowing how to apply pertinent technical processes to appropriate business needs.
  • Solution-oriented – Keeps a positive mindset focused on finding answers and creating new strategies, avoids becoming sidetracked, and isn’t overburdened by difficulties or issues.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Java, and Node.js is preferred.
  • a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or any other related field that requires an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training in the development of computer systems. Prior airline experience is not necessary but is advantageous.
