Position Description

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Manager for managing events planning by overseeing the development and delivery of internal and external-facing events at multiple locations. The candidate is responsible for delivering high-quality event experiences for colleagues, users, and prospects while working with multiple cross-functional teams within Bentley. As a senior manager, you will lead multiple projects and timelines while working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

– Lead the identifying, scheduling, and planning of events, activities, and programs supporting AAG initiatives.
– Develop and implement best practices for event planning and coordination impacting AAG and other internal teams.
– Own onsite event coordination and logistics related to events occurring at the Exton, PA, and other locations.
– Own all aspects of event coordination / management.
– Partner with internal teams to identify and plan events supporting Channel Partner efforts and operations.
– Work in close collaboration with the Director, Sales Communications, and other key stakeholders to communicate all relevant aspects and elements of events in a concise and timely fashion.
– Partner with Sales Communications Graphic Designers to develop collateral and materials supporting internal and external events.
– Ensure all event displays, signage, presentations, collateral, etc. meet established company standards, regulatory requirements, etc.
– Manage the budget, selection, ordering, inventory, and distribution of Bentley-branded corporate gifts and promotional items used for internal colleague appreciation and external promotional efforts.
– Interact with industry organizations, exhibit vendors, hotel, and conference management, Bentley management, and other key stakeholders in a professional manner.
– Create and manage survey/feedback mechanisms to capture pre- and post-event feedback and commentary.

Qualifications

– Minimum 5 – 8 years of related event planning experience with a focus on events directly impacting revenue operations and/or customer experience, preferably at a software company.
– Strong editing and proofreading skills.
– Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex programs–meeting all milestones and deadlines.
– Strategic and critical thinking skills.
– Handle and maintain confidential information.
– Work well both independently and under the direction of leadership or other key stakeholders.
– Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
– This role requires minimal travel.
