The CVS Health PMO team is looking for an innovative thought partner with strong analytic and program management skills to work on critical IT projects. This position will necessitate an out-of-the-box problem solver who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning, self-motivated, results-oriented, and high-energy, and who can function easily in a high-demand, performance-driven environment. This position will be responsible for independently driving planning and day-to-day management on complex IT initiatives and programs across the full project lifecycle, working closely with project teams to achieve expected results.

You will help with the planning, coordination, and tactical implementation of IT projects and programs across business and functional lines, as well as the creation of presentations and content for key leadership forums. The position provides significant exposure to cross-functional leaders and colleagues across CVS Health and Aetna, as well as opportunities for professional development. Assignments are highly complex, have significant associated risks, and can be sensitive or widely varied, necessitating experience in applying and adapting project management techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Run programs with budgets of $5 million or more. consisting of a variety of large and small projects
• Oversee other PM resources and contractors, as well as matrixed project team members.
• Drive planning activities such as meeting convening, agenda development, and report development, or assist specific teams with tracking and monitoring initiatives.
• As each project grows, ensure that appropriate project deliverables are created, used by leaders, and are updated over time.
• Interfacing and communicating directly with Senior leaders from various areas of the company.
• Oversee the creation and monitoring of timelines and milestones with key internal and external partners in order to meet project objectives.
• Monitor multiple, concurrent project lifecycles by tracking project plans and key deliverable deadlines, as well as identifying and raising issues that need to be resolved.
• Projects should be managed using the CVS agile methodology and/or other Project Management professional practices and standard tools.
• Collaborate with other Project Leads and Owners to coordinate day-to-day initiative progress, identify risks/barriers, and work with project leaders to resolve issues.
• Interact with other projects as needed to modify plans to ensure crossfunctional dependencies and interdependent projects remain coordinated.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to define and obtain all necessary resources, as well as to ensure their ongoing support for project goals.
• Maintain regular project reviews and communicate project status in both formal and informal settings.
• Weekly resource allocation forecasting while adhering to project budget

Pay Scale

The typical salary range for this position is: the minimum is 115,000, and the maximum is 230,000.

Please keep in mind that this range represents the average pay for all positions in the job grade in which this position is located. The actual salary offer will consider a variety of factors, including location.

Requirements:

Qualifications Required

• IT background Management of programs, budgeting, and execution
• 8+ years of project management experience working with cross-functional teams
• 5+ years of experience leading program management initiatives in a large organization.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of project managers

Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum certification
• Experience with project management in the healthcare industry
• Experience in project management delivering IT projects requiring the deployment of IT Infrastructure solutions, including cloud technology.
• Expertise in Project Management Tools such as CA Clarity PPM, MS Project, MS SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• SAFe Agile and PMP certification
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills are required.

Education

• In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a High School Diploma/GED plus years of experience is required.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
