Position Description

iRhythm Technologies, a digital healthcare company, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to become a part of their Corporate IT team. The Senior IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, building, and making the IT systems of iRhythm Technologiess operational. You will be responsible for managing infrastructure and systems, including network, storage, compute, communication, and collaboration services. This position requires Core hours of work day 9-5 Central Time Zone US, which is a remote role as long as you can work central time hours.

Responsibilities

– Design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony, and systems.
– Implement secure and fault-tolerant solutions.
– Provide technical leadership, support and architectural direction across multiple teams and domains.
– Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape.
– Lead infrastructure, systems, and application projects.
– Migrate systems from on-premise to co-location sites to cloud.
– Mentor less senior staff.
– Help define and execute the strategic path for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise.
– Develop solutions for international expansion.

Qualifications

Personal:

– Must be effective working independently.

– Discipline to document your work is required.
– Ability to work with a project-oriented approach for deliverables.

Technical:

– 8 or more years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers, and storage systems.
– Expert experience with VMware products ESXi vSphere, vCenter.
– Expert knowledge on Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
– Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.

Education and Certifications:

– Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
