Position Description

Waterford is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Director of Community Engagement Operations to oversee and advance the organization’s recruitment goals. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying and implementing innovative solutions for process improvements, increasing efficiency and maximizing the performance of the department. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and projects with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

– Review operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
– Analyze recruitment data to evaluate and report on cohort enrollment progress.
– Develop and direct SOP documentation and project plans by building and maintaining processes and systems that ensure success across multiple functional areas.
– Direct cross-functional projects to achieve departmental goals and advance efficiency and effectiveness.
– Understand different cohort implementations to manage and report information accurately.
– Collaborate with teams to support recruitment, enrollment, and marketing.
– Manage special projects as assigned.
– Contribute to and collaborate on organizational DEI efforts and goals.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in non-profit, business, public administration, psychology, sociology, education, or similar program (or equivalent work experience).
– 8+ years of demonstrated experience in program management, human services management, or program operations.
– 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams/projects.
– 3+ years proven experience in project management skills and a history of cross-functional project management success.
– Prior experience engaging with diverse populations and underserved communities.
– Experience in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
– Experience in K-12 or early education field and/or human services or community organizing.
– Experience managing logistics and events and organizational logistical needs.
– Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to advise decision making and resource allocation.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can craft clear requirements and connect with technical and non-technical audiences.
