This position is in charge of finding good dental networks that Aetna Dental Commercial and Medicare clients and members can use and that are affordable. The position allows the person to work from home or on the go, and it also helps managed care contracted networks grow and makes Aetna more money.

Responsibilities:

  • Looks into dental providers and offices that use systems to forecast, predict, and get ready for recruitment communication. This is done to make sure that providers have a good experience and that people trust the Aetna brand.
  • Finds, recruits, negotiates, and signs contracts with dental providers in a certain area, following the rules and deadlines that have already been set, in order to meet network goals. Includes all kinds of communication, such as campaigning in person.
  • Builds strong business relationships with the people who work in the dental office, including but not limited to the dentist, the office manager, and the insurance coordinator.
  • Comes up with a recruitment strategy and puts it into action to meet the needs of current and potential clients.
  • Makes sure that paperwork is done correctly and on time to meet state rules.
  • Keeps track of tasks and activities that have been given to them by using the right company tools (Salesforce/CRM, Avaya phone system, etc.).
  • Helps out with other tasks as needed.

Pay Range

The usual range of pay for this job is:

  • Minimum: 43,700
  • Maximum: 100,000

Please keep in mind that this range is the pay range for all jobs in the same job grade as this position. The actual salary offer will depend on a lot of things, like where the job is.

Requirements:

  • You need between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Good communication skills in writing and in person
  • Good skills at negotiating
  • Able to think independently and critically
  • Able to use Microsoft programs well, including Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Ability to manage time and keep things in order
  • Able to look at situations, figure out what’s important, and decide what to do.
  • Being quick and adaptable to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • It’s best to have between 5 and 8 years of relevant work experience
  • It’s best if you know ADA/CDT codes and general dental terminology.
  • Knowledge of health and dental insurance is preferred
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Excellent public speaking skills and experience are preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience that is the same or better.
