Responsibilities:

As an IBMi Senior Analyst/Developer, your duties will include:

• Creation and upkeep of software programs essential to CVS Health’s operations.
• Make sure the RxClaim Adjudication team supports both internal and external clients successfully.
• Working as a team and closely with FTE and contract employees to achieve project goals and objectives.
• demonstrating expertise in SDLC processes and following accepted CVS standards and guidelines.
• Systematically analyze the specified business issues and create (design, code, and unit test) solutions that satisfy the technical and functional criteria
• To understand the system, seek advice and mentorship from senior functional leads. Review deliverables with IT SMEs, architects, and members of the business team.

Pay Scale

The usual pay scale for this position is as follows:

• Least: 70,000
• The most: 140,000

Requirements:

Required credentials

• Having developed an in-depth grasp of AS400 application development over the course of four years, including the following:
• Two or more years of expertise managing multiple technical projects on an IBM iSeries
• RPG, RPGLE, and CL application development experience of at least two years.
• Experience with Synon for at least a year.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of application development in COOL 2/E and Synon 2/E
• 1+ years’ experience with IBMi SQL
• RxClaim or another PBM adjudication system experience is preferred.
• COBOL expertise Demonstrated success on a number of medium-to-large-scale projects
• Working proficiently on all SDLC phases, determining problems, and solving them using research and fact-finding

Education

Computer science bachelor’s degree or equivalent necessary. will accept a verified high school diploma or GED with one year of relevant work experience in place of each year of college that is not completed in addition to the necessary number of years of experience.
