Responsibilities:
- Participate in numerous departmental initiatives
- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting – Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors – Examine financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance indicators)
- Manage monthly accounting closure processes and deliverables in accordance with GAAP (journal entries, reconciliations, reports).
- Create account reconciliations for the balance sheet.
- – Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting rules, processes, and controls and to support unique requests.
- A never-ending desire to enhance the accounting and reporting process’ automation
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills; a BA/BS in Accounting; prior financial reporting experience; comfort working in a changing, dynamic workplace; and strong analytical and discernment skills.
- ERP system knowledge – Cooperation skills with functional department managers
- Non-profit fund accounting expertise – Year-end proficiency Close – General ledger expertise needed – Auditing mastery – Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Excel – QuickBooks expertise preferable – Minimum of five years of experience
- Prompt and accurate report development and analysis of financial data proficiency – Knowledge of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems
