In order to enable our customers rapidly install solutions across the end-to-end supply chain, this role will leverage a quick sales process attitude while highlighting the greatest features of the AWS Supply Chain application. Initially, planning, inventory, and supplier collaboration will be the primary areas of focus. Our team’s job is to match our clients’ requirements with our application capabilities, both present and future, and then work with those clients who are a good fit to swiftly implement the solution.

A strong applicant will have understanding of the following:

  • Planning: integrated business planning, supply planning, demand planning/sensing, forecasting, and S&OP
  • Procurement and Sourcing: supplier catalogs, eProcurement, and B2B transactions
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Control towers, sustainability, and network architecture
  • Manufacturing technology: Internet-of-things (IoT) enablement and Base Manufacturing strategy and execution
  • Fulfillment: Omni-channel, segmentation, inventory management, and inventory strategy
  • Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, industrial, retail, CPG, energy, mining, high technology, and/or healthcare and life science industries’ supply chains

Responsibilities:

  • Key duties include scoping, validating, and identifying opportunities for digital applications with demonstrable business outcomes for both AWS and our customers during the sales process for AWS Supply Chain.
  • Leading teams of global supply chain executives in executive workshops
  • Working together with Amazon product teams, partners, AWS ProServe, and service teams
  • Working with important industry Independent Software Vendors and our AWS Partner Network to discuss their Digital Supply Chain solutions on AWS
  • Attending CEO briefings and business gatherings that promote quick opportunity cycles

Requirements:

PRIMARY QUALIFCATIONS

  • At least five years of experience in software, cloud, or SaaS market direct sales or business development, targeting C-level executives
    7+ years of experience managing alliances, partners, business development, or sales. – BA/BS degree desirable, or similar work experience necessary.
  • Experience in the industry marketing applications for supply chain planning, inventory, fulfillment, and supplier collaboration, as well as the integration of these sophisticated solutions

DESIDERED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Over five years of experience creating successful partner ecosystems – Experience creating comprehensive go-to-market strategies
