Position Description:

Sales Managers are needed to join Yelp’s Local Sales team as important players. Yelp is a great area for advertisers to reach an actively engaged audience thanks to the site’s over 138 million unique monthly visits, a continuously growing user community, and a built-in forum for customer interactions. You will be responsible for leading a group of 10–12 inside sales executives in achieving monthly revenue goals by bringing in new clients.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll give a group of Account Executives direct coaching and feedback.
    Your goal as a leader is to build your team of sales representatives into high achievers.
  • You will expect your team to make sure that prospects are informed clearly and honestly about our products, policies, and pricing.
  • You’ll conduct successful team meetings, one-on-one conversations, and group trainings.
  • You will surpass your team’s monthly sales goals.
  • You will put into practice strategic sales planning, forecasting, and training.

Requirements:

  • You must conduct yourself with utmost honesty, professionalism, and personal responsibility in order to achieve.

  • You are a self-starter and a problem-solver.
  • You are a thoughtful leader with strong emotional intelligence, good communication skills, and both.
  • You have at least one year of successful inside sales team development and management experience.
  • You have the capacity to relate to, motivate, and understand a varied team as well as a diversified client base.
  • You have a proven track record of success inspiring teams to surpass sales targets.
  • You have knowledge of creating sales strategies and studying KPIs.
  • It would be ideal but not necessary if you have experience marketing digital products to SMBs.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred but not necessary.
  • You have at least three years of customer-facing experience OR a bachelor’s degree.
  • You have a GED or HS diploma.
