Position Description

Pinterest, one of the largest social media platforms, is seeking a Sales Finance Analyst who will be responsible for monitoring business performance, identifying underlying trends and influencing strategic business decisions by working closely with the sales and finance departments. The role will involve leading global revenue forecasting and planning processes, optimizing quarterly reporting, building dashboards to scale monitoring tools, and offering financial analyses. The Sales Finance Analyst will work in partnership with Corporate Finance, Sales Strategy & Operations and Business Operations to ensure that the company delivers on strategic and financial goals.

Responsibilities

– Leading the delivery of core revenue forecasting & consolidation workstreams
– Driving the delivery of all monthly and quarterly financial reporting to key stakeholders
– Creating dashboards and monitoring key performance indicators to drive business growth
– Delivering bespoke analyses for top-line growth & margin expansion initiatives
– Continuously improving and automating existing processes and deliverables

Qualifications

– 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, banking, consulting, or in a related quantitative field
– Strong experience writing SQL queries and retrieving data from relational databases
– Excellent spreadsheet and financial modeling skills to create financial dashboards and models
– Outstanding business partnership, communication, and presentation skills using Google Slides
– Ability to multi-task and deliver against timelines
