Responsibilities:
The Account Manager is in charge of increasing cargo revenues and market share and reports directly to the District Sales Manager. This is accomplished by developing fresh sales strategies and revising current ones with freight forwarders and other kinds of clients in a predetermined geographic sales zone.
- Account managers work from a sales office and generally handle their designated sales territory through face-to-face sales calls.
- To surpass shared goals, we collaborate on sales with our joint venture partners.
- Account Managers must organize their sales efforts in accordance with current sales strategies and logical analyses of account and market data.
- In order to support the overall goals for the position, territory, market, department, and company, the Account Manager must deliver timely sales plans and activity reports to their boss.
- Responsible for surpassing or reaching the targets for measurable key performance indicators.
- Will access account information and find chances for sales generation using sales force automation technology.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.
The beginning salary for this position is $62,000, and the salary ranges up to a maximum of $77,000.

Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant cargo sales experience are necessary.

- Requires analytical, project management, interpersonal, and business decision-making abilities.
- It’s necessary to have experience with the following computer programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access are all Microsoft Office programs, as is the Sales Force platform.
- It’s necessary to be proficient in both written and spoken communication.
- Must be willing to work extra days or hours as needed.
- It is necessary to undertake overnight business trips to cities, some of which may be outside the allotted region.
- Must be able to function well with little guidance. Should be familiar with all business regulations and procedures.
