Amazon is looking for a qualified claims specialist to support commercial auto claims for its growing fleet of international delivery vehicles.
Responsibilities:
You will work under a Risk Manager at Global Risk Management & Claims, where you will be responsible for the daily operations of the auto claims team. While working closely with Third Party Administrators (TPA) and insurance carriers, this role will support numerous programs and lines of business. The following duties are possible, but are not restricted to:
- Assist in managing commercial auto claims on a daily basis.
- Respond to and resolve questions about claims from internal partners, insurance companies, and TPAs.
- Oversee a number of shared mailboxes with a large flow of mail and decide how to handle or route inquiries to the right team.
- Use prior experience to detect trends and troubleshoot claim-related problems.
- Approach problem-solving strategically while looking for opportunities to impact process improvement.
- Collaborate with other teams to complete projects.
- 25% of domestic travel is available.
Requirements:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- BS or BA from a recognized university
- Processing first-party and third-party auto claims for two years or more
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise with fleet or commercial vehicle claims
- Capacity and desire to take charge of projects
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the capacity to convey ideas effectively both orally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to adjust to shifting processes and priorities.
- Worked well both independently and as a team, was at ease expressing their thoughts, and respected others’ viewpoints.
