AIB is seeking a Risk Analyst for its UK Risk Analytics department. The company operates within the UK Risk Management function and is dedicated to providing quantitative modelling and analysis.
As the Risk Analyst, you will be tasked with monitoring credit risk models, delivering insightful findings, ensuring appropriate oversight, and minimizing model risk. Key job responsibilities include monitoring and developing the model, data gathering and analysis, and collaborating with UK and Group colleagues to determine and resolve model issues.
Qualifications
A successful applicant must have a minimum of a 2.1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative subject. Additionally, a Masters/PhD qualification in a quantitative subject or two or more years’ experience in an analytic team is required. Proficiency in computer software programs, especially statistical software, ought to be mentioned. Besides, an applicant must demonstrate experience in working with data, analyse and make recommendations, and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
