Position Description

LanceSoft is looking for an experienced Proofreader with at least 2-5 years of experience and an Associate’s Degree to proofread Medicare new member material for our client. The position offers a pay rate of US$ 31.19 hourly and is a contract position that will last for six months or more. It is a remote, full-time position with flexible hours. The Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading documents to ensure accurate grammar usage, required contents, and correcting any typographical errors or composition mistakes.

Responsibilities

– Proofread Medicare new member material such as Evidence of Coverage, summary of benefits, and ANOC to ensure that the specific plan information contained is correct.
– Work alongside the team leader to proof mandated materials against model templates.
– Review, edit, and proofread documents to ensure content accuracy, grammatical precision, and typographical correctness.

Qualifications

– Thorough and great attention to detail.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with others and take direction.
– Flexible and open to change.
– Proficient in Excel, Adobe, and Word, with experience in SharePoint and Workfront workflow management tool preferred, but not required.
– Prior experience in proofreading Medicare material is a plus, but not required.
– As an Associate’s Degree holder with 2-5 years of proofreading experience, you are preferably qualified for this position.
