Position Description

Backstage Holdings is currently hiring for the role of Quality Assurance Manager. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, has strong communication and leadership skills, a passion for delivering quality products, and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

1. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure that products and services meet the highest standards of quality.

2. Manage vendor relationships, budget, and workload, as well as lead a team of QA professionals.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management, engineering, and design, to integrate quality standards throughout the organization.

4. Identify and troubleshoot problems with software and processes.

5. Review and verify new bug reports, and oversee the execution of testing activities.

6. Work closely with customer support teams to analyze product and customer feedback to identify and prioritize potential quality improvements.

Qualifications

1. Advanced experience testing complex web and iOS applications.

2. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, and experience managing multiple projects in QA simultaneously.

3. Exceptional organizational and delegation skills, with experience mentoring junior testers.

4. Strong communication skills and cross-departmental collaboration.

5. Proven ability to convey complex technical requirements in a clear and succinct manner.

6. Strong understanding of Jira or comparable ticket management tools.
