A Project Manager is needed for a long-term project to handle infrastructure and information security developments for one of Robert Half’s Fortune 500 Finance clients. Apply right away if you have at least five years of experience managing projects in a financial services setting.
The only individuals that qualify for this remote position (PST hours) are W2 employees.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of organizing the proper life cycle phases for the implementation and support of a single large project or a number of smaller projects.
- Coordination of resources, scheduling of tasks, project plans, and frequently doing analysis are some of the activities.
- Acts as the main point of contact for system management and user groups.
- Offers suggestions for improvements to project management standards, procedures, and tactics.
- Manages project interdependencies and handoffs and offers resolution to significant challenges.
- Coordinates project communications generally and handles problems.
- Takes the initiative in the development of business cases, cost/benefit analyses, contingency plans, and risk assessments.
- Acts as a technical subject matter expert for business line and systems professionals.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of financial services
- Background in Infrastructure & Information Security
- Knowledge of Jira, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
