Position Description

Amplify Education Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Math Suite Programs who can assist in creating digital, print, and other physical product development. We want to provide the best K-12 curriculum and assessment of next-generation learning. We serve more than 10 million students from all 50 states in the United States. As a Project Manager for Math Suite Programs, you will help lead the product team throughout the development process of this new core math curriculum. It includes R&D, design, content development, production, and product launch. You will act as the steward of project goals, keeping the team aligned and ensuring delivery within the expected constraints. You will implement risk/issue management and decision/change management throughout the project lifecycle. You also will be responsible for production-level schedules and vendor management to ensure internal and external alignment to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

-Proactively manage all phases of product development, ensuring each phase is completed within established constraints.

-Create and manage robust project plans throughout the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality.

-Identify risks and issues and work with the team to create response plans that meet project expectations.

-Facilitate the processes of decision-making and change management to maintain team alignment and clear project goals.

-Report regularly to project leadership on project status, issues, risks, and decisions.

-Lead effective team collaboration meetings with team members at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy.

-Support and advocate for project teams and ensure they are set up for success by creating realistic project plans.

-Manage production vendors, including procurement (RFP/SOW creation), internal/external workflows, billing, and alignment to project landmarks.

Qualifications

-3+ years of experience in a project management role managing complex, multi-year projects with annual budgets exceeding $1M.

-Proven ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

-Proven written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to present information clearly and enthusiastically.

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

-Ability to travel as required.

Preferred

Qualifications

-Experience managing 5+ cross-functional teams within a project lasting over 1 year.

-3 years of project management experience in the content development or publishing industry.

-PMP certification.
