We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our quickly expanding team of blockchain engineers and cryptocurrency enthusiasts. You will structure and ease the process of converting technical specifications into production software in this capacity. You will work directly on the success of our project and report directly to the Head of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Provide structure and process to the whole project lifecycle across all of our stack’s layers.
- Organize the technical specifications and product requirements documentation.
- Develop an EIP/ERC-like procedure for Subspace Improvement Proposals (SIPs) and Subspace Release Candidates (SRCs).
- Oversee the construction and upkeep of Github’s public engineering roadmaps.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to translate technical needs into clear tasks.
- The control of the task lifecycle from the backlog to the release.
- Work together with engineers to establish and adhere to deadlines.
- Inform all stakeholders in a clear and concise manner on the state of the various initiatives.
Requirements:
Key Conditions
- 2+ years of experience managing projects, programs, or technical products for blockchain projects that are open-source.
- 2+ years of experience leading geographically dispersed teams remotely.
- A thorough understanding of consensus protocols, peer-to-peer networking, and cryptography as they relate to blockchain technology.
- Thorough knowledge of the various project management techniques and the entire software development lifecycle, from idea to delivery.
- Being able to open-source manage numerous priorities at once.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the capacity to collect and document requirements from a variety of stakeholders.
- A love of Web3 technology and decentralized, peer-to-peer networks.
Bonus Knowledge:
- At least one programming language under your belt.
- Familiarity with the Polkadot ecosystem and Substrate.
