The Group You’ll Be a Part of:
- The Corporate Planning & Execution team sits at the crossroads of strategy and execution, preparing and delivering the company’s key products while giving executives with the insight and input needed to lead bi-annual releases.
- Manages a team of program managers, each of whom is in charge of overseeing the implementation of different but linked products.
- Collaboration with leadership in product marketing, design, engineering, customer service, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to complete all projects on time and with the highest quality possible.
- Collaborates with colleagues in design and engineering to create and implement portfolio management governance.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Predict and mitigate upcoming risks and hazards within the portfolio.
- Organizes information to ensure that it flows efficiently across all products and teams.
- Managers of mentoring and coaching programs
- Coordination of mid-cycle retrospectives to fine-tune the operational system of the portfolio team
- Ensures that program managers follow standard operating procedures, particularly those pertaining to leadership reporting and documentation.
A Normal Day:
- Manages the overall release timelines for the product portfolio, including detecting cross-product relationships and removing redundancy.
- Facilitates issue resolution and decision making, particularly for Product Leadership Provides project status to various stakeholder groups at the degree of information required
Your Area of Specialization:
- 13+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or other relevant fields
- Expertise managing project portfolios, including prioritizing, roadmap planning, and staffing
- Demonstrated ability to form strong bonds with and influence business leaders
- Capability to tackle unusual difficulties that have a wide-ranging impact on the firm
- Skills and expertise in mediation, negotiation, and dispute resolution are required.
- Experience leading ambitious and operationally demanding projects with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise developing and coaching program managers, connecting their talents to the demands of a growing firm.
- Knowledge of project management tracking and reporting platforms such as Airtable, Asana, Jira, Smartsheets, and others.
- In a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization, thrives on ambiguity.
- Travel of up to 10% is required.
