Position Description
BHG Financial is looking for a motivated and experienced Demand Generation Product Owner to work closely with performance marketing, brand marketing, and sales strategy and operations teams. In this role, the demand generation product owner will identify, interpret, and document critical business requirements and provide key oversight on product requirements. They will work with development teams to deliver quality features/functionality via digital platforms/solutions that elevate the customer experience. The demand generation product owner will play an integral role in supporting overall planning effort and assist in the management of daily standups, sprints, scheduling, and leading planning.
Responsibilities
The Demand Generation Product Owner is expected to carry out the following duties:
– Work with performance marketing, brand marketing, and sales strategy/operations to identify, interpret, and document critical business requirements
– Provide oversight on product requirements to ensure comprehension amongst stakeholders and alignment with overall business goals/roadmap
– Create user stories, host refinement with your scrum team and prioritize backlog effectively
– Define the QA strategy, test plans, and use cases for QA activities
– Drive task completion between the business, product and development teams to ensure requirements are executed upon both timely and accurately
– Play an integral role in supporting overall planning effort; detailed knowledge of requirements directly aids capacity planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements:
– 1+ years of experience in product ownership/management
– A firm understanding of AGILE/SCRUM methodology and product owner responsibilities
– Marketing domain experience with an emphasis on digital experience platforms
– Demonstrated proficiency in writing business processes & procedures documentation
– A highly logical and analytical mindset, ability to multitask and learn quickly
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to interpret requests and give quality results in a timely manner
