Since its announcement in 2017, Cloudflare Workers have been a crucial component of Cloudflare’s ambition to penetrate the compute market. Prior to the release of Workers, developers clearly required more ways to control the edge than what rules engines could offer as Cloudflare was stepping up its capabilities in the performance and security domains.
Workers has developed over the last few years from a basic functions-as-a-service solution to a full-stack platform. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead difficult projects, collaborating closely with technical teams on AI and GPU-based workloads, integrating this platform with external tools and services, developing new APIs, and providing observability tools for Cloudflare Workers. We are expanding this platform in new ways.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the roadmap, the strategy, and the representation of your products inside the company.
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion, including ongoing upkeep and assistance.
  • Build and maintain a relationship with the engineering team and work closely together to guarantee the product is delivered successfully.
  • Collaborate with several divisions like Product Marketing, Marketing, Community & Developer Advocacy, Sales, and Customer Support to promote uptake and obtain input from clients and potential clients.
  • Unwaveringly set priorities in a complicated setting with a wide range of stakeholders, clients, and goals
  • When necessary, represent the business externally in meetings with clients and potential clients and through analysis
  • Investigate the market to find fresh investment opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering developer-facing products from conception to launch Developer focus: You will work closely with customers and frequently join their team to assist in the first implementation of BS/MS in a technical field.
  • Three to four years of experience managing products professionally
  • strong technological skills. You have extensive knowledge of the contemporary methods for developing and implementing software. You are able to delve into the specifics and comprehend how engineering choices affect the final product, but you can also drive from a thirty-thousand-foot perspective.
  • a drive to focus on the little things and provide excellent developer experiences
  • familiarity with using developer tools, including CLIs and source-control management systems
  • a passion for regularly chatting with developers at big and small companies to build and release solutions that address actual issues.
  • knowledge of query languages and/or programming languages (Rust, Go, Javascript, etc.).
