Position Description

Chess.com, the largest gaming site for playing, learning, and enjoying chess, is seeking a Partnerships Coordinator to manage its creator program and partnerships with high-profile individuals and brands. The selected individual will work remotely with a fully-remote team of 500+ people in 60+ countries. This full-time position requires experience in influencer relations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for chess.

Responsibilities

– Help manage the creator program with leadership for growth and service
– Help shepherd projects and activations with creator-partners from idea to execution
– Represent Chess.com as an ambassador in partnerships and among the community
– Create and experiment with new ideas for partnerships and campaigns
– Measure and report creator activations data
– Assist creators with their Chess.com content creation needs
– Support long-running initiatives across teams and departments

Qualifications

– At least 3 years of experience in talent, partnership, or influencer relations
– Knowledge of streaming, gaming, and the recent growth of chess
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Familiarity with creator-led event coordination, creation, or management
– Strong collaboration and communication skills, preferably with remote teams
– Experience with spreadsheets and data manipulation
– Experience or willingness to learn photo editing tools like Photoshop, Photopea, or others
