Responsibilities:
- Act as the project’s primary manager, managing daily operations and logistics (such as security, labor, travel, printing, and shipping).
- Manage a group of salaried and hourly direct reports located in FL and CA, including daily management as well as necessary coaching, training, and professional development.
- Become the primary point of contact for the organization and administration of diverse live and virtual learning experiences, including efficient resource and budget management to guarantee projects stay within their allocated budgets.
- Create relationships that are productive and powerful to encourage cooperation between internal and external stakeholders.
- To design, operationalize, and fine-tune goods or engagements in accordance with common visions, goals, and the varied demographics of our clients, work closely with cross-functional partners.
- Work cooperatively in a context that emphasizes teamwork, contributing as a valuable member with a knack for problem-solving in a quick-paced, service-focused organization, and supporting a broad range of portfolios that include both in-person and online learning programs.
- Ensure that all necessary resources, including labor and materials, are available to support the efficient completion of each engagement.
- Develop and execute systems, procedures, and efficiencies that improve experience quality and offer the possibility of scaling to support the expansion of the Disney Institute.
- Offer setup, delivery, and post-event coordination for public and private programs on-site or virtually.
Requirements:
Required credentials
- 5 years of project management or operations experience.
- Demonstrated capacity for juggling deadlines and working with many stakeholders, remaining cool under pressure and resourceful despite sudden changes to deliverables.
- Proven ability to provide excellent guest service and a clear service philosophy; strong network-building skills with clients, partners, and operating teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail abilities that allow for the brief, well-structured presentation of ideas.
- A team of on-site, remotely based, and internationally traveling Cast Members can be led and supported with ease and skill by someone with these qualities.
- Interacting with high-level internal and external stakeholders and senior company leaders with proven efficacy.
- A track record of successfully managing change, managing many priorities, and handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Powerful problem-solving skills, including the capacity to identify possibilities and put forth workable answers.
- Knowledge of MAC OS and proficiency in the Windows environment, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to pick up new software fast.
- US driver’s license in good standing
- Being able to travel for up to 20% of the time
- Flexibility in regard to work schedule, including on weekends, evenings, and holidays
Preferred Requirements
- Dual language ability.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, WorkFront, Smartsheet, Siebel, DSCS, WebBEO, Certain, and/or WebBEO.
- Workforce management, scheduling, or labor law prior experience
Necessary education
- Bachelor’s degree or a similar level of expertise
