You oversee the entire schedule, proactively mitigate risks, and maintain control over the scope of technical deliverables in order to fulfill deadlines and minimize disruption to support teams.

  • Take an active part in firm engineering evaluations and have a real influence on the solutions that are suggested for a system or a subsystem, the system architecture as a whole, and the facility procedures.
  • Assist in establishing milestones, driving schedules to achieve deadlines, and setting project priorities in collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and outside vendors. Evaluate stakeholders’ dependencies and milestones in a proactive manner, fix problems, and spearhead solutions to lessen the effects of the concerns.
  • Take the lead in organizing and coordinating all execution activities to produce automated equipment and systems designs in accordance with rules and regulations. Install systems and equipment and meet safety, throughput, and equipment requirements. While fixing challenging system issues or technical shortcomings, simplify, optimize, eliminate bottlenecks, and offer feedback.
  • Establish goals, seat the appropriate people in the room, and facilitate in-depth business and technical discussions and alignment to facilitate productive meetings. Make sure that expectations between internal partner teams and external vendors are aligned by documenting meeting discussions, decisions, and next steps.
  • Communicate project progress, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies in a timely and accurate manner. Provide clear and succinct project reports to the leadership/management team on a regular basis. Ability to respond to project questions in a detailed and efficient manner.
  • Effectively communicate system and/or equipment designs, including layouts, functional capabilities, and technical requirements, to partner teams and internal customers.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoice validation/approvals, and change order controls effectively.
  • Proficient in establishing trusting working connections with both external and internal stakeholders on a variety of initiatives.
  • Find and oversee process improvement projects that raise the efficiency of the engineering and cross-teams and maximize the value and output of the teams. Work together to produce efficient, high-quality solutions in a shorter amount of time.
