We are now looking for a Remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as the need for mental health services grows. In this position, you will be able to use telehealth technology to reach patients in need while working from the comfort of your own home to give essential mental health support.

Requirements:

• Perform comprehensive mental health screenings and evaluations of patients.
• Create and carry out thorough treatment programs for people suffering from mental health issues.
• Track and assess patients’ progress and make any required adjustments to treatment regimens.
• Write prescriptions and oversee drug administration
• Give patients and their families psychoeducation about available treatments and coping mechanisms.
• Work together with other medical specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Keep current and accurate medical records
• Currently holding a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
• a nursing master’s degree from a recognized university
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
• a minimum of one year of NP experience working in a mental health environment
• competence with virtual patient care and telehealth technologies
• strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• The capacity to operate autonomously and oversee a varied caseload
• familiarity with mental health laws and recommended procedures
