Position Description

CVS Health is seeking experienced Mobile Applications Senior Development Engineer II, either for iOS or Android development, to join their diverse and dynamic team. This is a full-time job, entailing designing, developing, and testing consumer-facing mobile applications in the retail space. The job requires working remotely from Colorado. The pay range for this role is UDS 115,000.00 to USD 230,000.00 per annum, depending on the candidate’s experience, location, education, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Development Engineer II for mobile applications, you will be responsible for advancing the architecture and mobile product, collaborating with cross-functional teams like design, product, and analysts to deliver great user experiences.

Your other job responsibilities include but not limited to:
– Enhancing and maintaining mobile apps CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines. Offering high-level support tools to team engineers
– Driving solutions to reduce cost and time to market
– Assuming an end-to-end delivery of mobile applications, coordinating with the required teams for production deployment
– Continuously monitoring application health and KPIs and supporting triage of any production issues
– Troubleshooting complex data, features, service, platform issues and performing root cause analysis to resolve product and operational issues
– Being an advocate of security best practices, supporting security within engineering
– Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers in software design and development activities

Qualifications

For iOS:
– A minimum of 7 years of software development experience with at least 5 years in designing/developing iOS mobile applications
– A minimum of 2 years of experience with modern iOS development frameworks such as SwiftUI
– A minimum of 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams, and great user experience delivery
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in influencing large organizations about best Mobile iOS development practices
– A minimum of 2 years of building tests from the start with TDD development experience. Continuous delivery in mobile, code review, static analysis, continuous integration, automation, and functional testing (using XCUI and Snapshot)

For Android:
– A minimum of 7 years of software development experience with at least 5 years in designing/developing Android mobile applications
– A minimum of 2 years of experience with modern Android development frameworks such as Jetpack compose and Kotlin
– A minimum of 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams, and great user experience delivery
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in influencing large organizations on best practices in Mobile Android development
– A minimum of 2 years of accessibility experience

Preferred

Qualifications

– Experience in designing retail or eCommerce applications
– Experience in handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with authenticated sessions using OAuth and authenticated tokens
– Significant contributions of released Customer facing applications on the Apple store

Education:
– A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

Salary Range:
Minimum: USD 115,000.00
Maximum: USD 230,000.00
